JP Paul’s large-format Challenging Perceptions series revisits his hybrid works of Compromised, a career-changing series created in the early 00s. Featuring acrylic paint, mark-making, and digital elements, the original works explored contemporary methods and globalized social commentary about societal roles, identity, belonging, and cancel culture.

Z/Editions is the exclusive licensor of JP Paul print editions. Our scans of the originals were taken directly on large-format reproductive equipment to capture not only the digital work but also the traditionally applied painted and drawn elements of these works. As one-to-one files, this limited series is produced at almost the same size as the original hand-made edition. Each work comes with a signed certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
