The Limits series grew from a 2009-2011 collaboration between artists Buju Lynton and J.P. Paul. Lynton introduced Paul to the darker extremes of Kingston life, including some of the world’s most dangerous neighborhoods, politically tense pressure points, and the infamous prisons, while J.P. taught Buju the possibilities of applying digital imaging to BJ’s already poignant photography.
